Dr. Frank Alan Snyder, MD

Dr. Snyder found in 10 minutes what other doctors missed year after year. He had me diagnosed accurately without hesitation. He is also very thorough and orders appropriate tests for further investigation. He is very good at unraveling complex issues and seeing the whole picture. Dr Snyder thinks outside the box and is a leader in his field.

Dr. Snyder is the type of doctor that we all dream of having, the kind that spends however long is needed to help you, the kind that is available after hours if needed, the kind that will research and learn about rare and unknown disorders that others can't even spell. He remains current on medical advances and even researches and publishes studies himself!!! You can ask any question and he will explain it to you in detail. He even gives you written information to take with you. The amount of time he spends not only during your appointment, but during his own time is unheard of. He is brilliant-knows more than any surgeon or specialist in North Carolina. He was able to diagnose me after 4 years of doctors having no idea what was going on. He is witty and caring at the same time-you can tell he is a doctor for the right reasons-he will do anything to help you because he wants to, not because of a paycheck. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Snyder. It is so refreshing to have a… doctor that doesn't treat you like a number.

Dr. Snyder is the kind of physician you think is mythical, but trust me, he is real. This is a man truly dedicated to both the art and science of medicine. He pulls out all stops in diagnosing and treating disease, especially chronic conditions. He is utterly focused on his patient's path to wellness, and won't stop testing, researching, and nudging (sometimes shoving) to accomplish this. He is intuitive, brilliant, generous, and empathetic. He gives as much time to patients as he thinks they need; yes, this does affect the wait time, but he is simply treating each patient thoroughly and fairly. His "bedside manner" is irreverent, intelligent, thoughtful, honest, sometimes acerbic. He makes it clear that he will do everything he can for his patient, but he also expects cooperation and a sincere desire to get well. I have almost completely regained good health (I'm still a work in progress) from a pretty dismal starting point four years ago.

Dr. Snyder is a very dedicated and experienced doctor. Best doctor I have EVER had the pleasure of working with to solve my health needs and problems.

Dr. Snyder is the only Doctor after 2 years and numerous doctors to spend the time with me to finally diagnose what I had. I have never had a doctor so caring and unselfish with his time. He goes above and beyond what most doctors do and will not stop until you are better!

Dr. Snyder is a horrible physician. He is very mean spirited, inappropriate and will NOT help you. DO NOT schedule a visit with this man. You would serve yourself better by going to a completely different practice.
