Alaska Neurology is the most messed up medical office I have ever encountered. Dr. Ellison is the owner and so this is on him.

Patient of Dr. Ellenson for last two years. Good listener, observant, thoughtful, attentive manners, was able diagnose and help me right away without costly procedures. Made an extra effort to see me on very short notice, staff was helpful as well. Good experience, would recommend him especially to migraine sufferers

Wow, where do I start? Had a really scary Imaging result, went to see Dr E and he went off in left field. Ordered a bunch of tests and was supposed to send orders for them and referrals but they were never sent. In his note he claimed to have made recommendations that he never explained or even mentioned at the appt. Seems if you don’t have an answer you keep looking until you can help reassure pt and get a diagnosis.

I took my 81 old mother, who show signs of Alzheimer’s to Dr. Ellenson. We found him to be very professional, compassionate and friendly. Dr. Ellesnon listened to our concerns and did some cognivive testing. We never felt rushed and Dr. Ellenson made sure he addressed all our concern prior to us leaving. In the past we have seen two other neurologists, by far Dr. Ellenson is the best fit for my mother. I’m very thankful to have Dr. Ellenson as my mother’s doctor. In addition, the office staff is professional, kind and prompt on returning calls. Appointments have been very reasonable without extended wait times. It’s the drive in from Wasilla.

Doesn't believe what you tell him He causes more problems does harm lot of harsh med no follow up staff awful and he doesn't watch them rude security is overkill incorrect diagnosis bad doctor

I felt like what i said matter and he really listened to what i had to say.I would recommand anyone to him.
