Dr. Gaylis and his staff consistently provided outstanding care at every visit. Some years ago, I also was very happy to receive a perfect surgical result.

Dr Gaylis is excellent in the areas that matter most to us. He is passionate about his work, an excellent diagnostician as well as surgeon, and thinks about the long-term as well as short-term ramifications of surgeries and treatments. He looks at films himself, doesn't rely on the reports - which is a big deal, if you don't already know that. Several radiologist reports have missed both major and minor things in the films on both us over the years. Always make sure a second doc reviews your films! We've been thru quite a few urologists in the area over the years, and won't allow anyone in our family to see anyone else as long as he practices here. The only caveat to my review is regarding the 4 starts for followup after visit. Don't misunderstand - he's not one of these docs who will call just to see how you are doing. I am only referring to NEEDED followup in my rating, such as if you are waiting on a test result or similar. But on any kind of necessary followup you will always… hear from him.

Dr. Gaylis is a caring, thorough and skilled doctor. Having gone through Prostate Cancer surgery, I couldn't of asked for a better doctor.I highly recommend him.
