Dr. Frederick Peter Hixson

He is terrible. he will only do a half way job and then tell you after that working out with give you great results. I had to pay $13,000 to have both of my procedures revised and now have a perm scar up and down on my torso I never would have had to have IF he had done the procedure 100% the first time. Also if you have had surgery and you are not happen file a complaint and demand his insurance info. I felt he should have had to pay for my revision surgeries since he never offered to fix his own crappy work and there is a time limit on when you can get action. He flat out does not care, he's more interested in getting you in and out and making his money than he is in doing the job you are hiring him to do. Also get copies of his notes after each appt b/c he flat out lies and will say PT is very pleased when you are not just to cover himself. It's disgusting he is allowed to get away with this. Don't let him operate on you, you will not be satisfied. I had a great surgeon do… my revisions and now I look how I should have looked the first time and not had to be out an additional $13,000!

He is more concerned with the money he's going to make, than helping someone who is in extreme pain. The comment that made me get up and walk out was, "If I had to reduce you by medical board standards, you'd look ridiculous. But for only $10,000 I can give you a reasonable nip/tuck. There's a bank just across the way that could give you a loan." He's a hack.

Dr Hixson and all of the staff at Plastic Surgery Associates were amazing! They were always so sweet and accomodating. I had a few consultations before my reduction surgery so I knew 100% what I was to expect in my future with surgery, and then I was in for surgery within the month! This being my first surgery ever, they made me feel so at ease and comfortable! I would recommend, and have recommended Dr Hixson and associates to everyone!
