Too long of a wait time for just a couple of minutes of his time. He only discussed one of two MRI's he ordered.

I've had severe back pain for some time but was not convinced in other neurosurgeons I visited over the past 10 years. Each time I was given a 50/50 chance of it working & of making it worse. That was not good enough for me to go through a very major procedure to perhaps come out maybe better maybe worse. I was referred to Dr Junn by my pain doc; the injections weren't helping any more. I liked Dr. Junn from the moment I met him. He was friendly, knowledgeable & very assuring he could help me. Well, after surgery, I can say I am much better today. I was actually up & walking same day. Now that's not to say recovery was easy, but it has been very good. I am doing so much better people are always asking me what have I done, new hair style, face lift haha. Nope just not living with excruciating pain has definitely made my life better & I'm very happy I did it.

This Doctor needs to be evaluated by a doctor or the Michigan medical Association. Unable to communicate other than to say, I can get you a year" Then nothing else. His assistant has to speak for him.

There is something wrong with this surgeon. I think his staff may write his good reviews.

Dr. Junn treats his patients with dignity and respect. He will only operate when necessary and always ensures his planned course of action is the best for his patients. I highly recommend you visit him if you think you need surgery or if you have back, neck or other problems such as numbness or pain in your extremities.

After searching for answers after shunt surgery on my sister by dr Junn, U of M said he damaged her brain, she cannot do anything, speak, feed herself, walk. We went back for shunt adjustment and instead of adjusting shunt slowly, he turned it all the way down and caused a brain bleed, then wanted to put in burr holes. My sister also has a huge incisional hernia the size of a bowling ball. He is a monster.
