Dr. Ganesh Maduravasal Chari, MD

Saw Dr. Chari for several years for MS advice and treatment. For about 37 years we've seen physicians in military hosp., private practices, med. centers from Walter Reed to UNC Hospitals Neurology...many neurologists. Dr. Chari appeared disinterested, cursory, and lacking in follow-up. Advise finding another physician.

Dr Chari has been very professional as is his office staff. I would very much recommend him to anyone that requires a great neurologist. He has been extremely through with me and is caring for me throughout my needs.

Dr. Chari has been my Neurologist for the past 3 years. I have tremors. He sent me for a brain MRI to rule out Parkinson's disease or tumors. Dr. Chari listens and offer alternatives for treatment. He is excellent as is his medical and office staff!

the worst doctor ive encountered. he never introduced himself, was VERY unclear as to what my follow up would be and which referrals he was going to create. He had a very rude demeanor, when I voiced concerns about open and closed MRI he appeared offended that I would question his doctor authority. I had to ask his staff to clarify the follow up instructions. I cancelled all further appointments with this doctor to include one I had for my child. I do not believe this is a cultural difference, he just seemed plain old fashioned rude.

Not a very good Vist with Dr Chari. Hardly any exchange of any thing useful Will not go back for any services

At Dr. Chari's office, we have waited well over an hour both times we were there. Then...when we did get called in, the appointment lasted 8 mins. We did not find him to be a good listener. What we would speak to him about, he would turn right around and ask us as if he never even heard us. I guess it is possible he couldn't understand us. His office manager, Tina, is extremely hard to deal with in case you have any issues to discuss with her. On our last appt, they said 'someone' had called and cancelled it and wanted us to re-schedule. They DID end up seeing us but I don't think they were happy about it as they never apologized to us for the mix-up. The Dr acted as if he thought we should be grateful that he 'decided to see us' even though we had the appointment for 2 months. All in all, bad experience. We told them we would not be back but to get the last word, they sent us a letter stating we were not welcome back! LOL I guess that is their way of feeling like they are… in control. It's all good ... as we had no intentions of going back. We have another neurologist now that spent some serious time with us and truly seems concerned and the office staff are sweethearts. What a difference a day can make. :)

I went to him for a brain tumor. He told me 'it is nothing to worry about'! I ended up having surgery only a few months later after seeing another doctor because it was growing fast!

Treated my wife horrible. Was rude, disrespectful. Left her in pain for 12 hours. She cried all evening.

Never have I met a Dr that was so rude. He has a very big ego and horrible bedside manner.
