Dr. Garnepudi V Prasad, MD

Dr Prasad was a very thorough and intense Dr. He treated my mother and I started going to him as well, after she passed at age 86. Though I had no issues with my heart, I had annual visits with him and was always treated kindly and efficiently. The office and tech staff were exceptionally very nice. He had a very busy office and he took time with everyone and he had hospital rounds which sometimes made him late for his practice. It was a pleasure to see him and visit briefly during my appointments. He was a very fine doctor and I miss his consultations and friendship.

HORRIBLE doctor! Had to wait over an hour in office to see him, then he spent less than a minute in the room with me. Was told I had to have a heart cath done, but was given no explanation of the procedure itself. I was also told that I would be given medication to "knock me out" during the procedure-this is ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE! I was completely awake and very uncomfortable during the entire procedure. I found Dr Prasad to be very rude and unconcerned-terrible bedside manner. I would not recommend him to my worst enemies!

He told me that I would be asleep to look at my heart....I was WIDE AWAKE! I will never go back to him again. He was very late to start my procedure too....he was 4 hrs late and did not even apologize! Very rude!

This doctor is very rude and unprofessional! He referred me to another doctor to put a heart stent, saying that he was a partner, this is incorrect. Dr Prasad can not put in heart stents, so I had to go through this procedure twice! I was also wide awake thru the whole thing and extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend him to anyone!

Bedside manner is good, great doctor.
