Dr. Gary Clifford Carlson, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson for 12 years. He is an outstanding Physician and through the years I have found his staff to be courteous and very professional.

I have been going to Dr. Carson for several years. He is fantastic. He is caring , and experienced and has treated me for several health issues that a previous Dr could not.

I agree with another review that Dr. Carlson is fine but his back office is rude and unprofessional, ESPECIALLY Kathy. I've also been hung up on, can't get call backs and had follow thru on referrals ignored. I even gotten the snotty comment "sigh, you again" from Kathy. Sadly, retaining such people reflects on the doctor's judgement.

I really like Dr Carlson and i hesitate to rate the other factors because i dont go to his office that often. He has moved and i beieve many things have improved.

I love Dr. Carlson and his front office are great! BUT, the receptionist, Kathy, is worse then horrible!!!! and his back office is almost as bad as Kathy. I have an HMO insurance through GNP, and Dr Carlson always tells me he is going to refer me to other doctors. the back office never puts the referral in, unless a call to see what the progress is on my referral and THEN it is put in. also if the doctor I am being referred to needs additional information the back office can't be bothered to send the information requested. When I call the office it takes about 3 trys because, Kathy, will hang up on you, doesn't even try to put you on hold just hangs up on you. She is totally unprofessional, and I can't believe that she is the 1st impression that a new patient gets from this practice.... Very frustrating from a primary care practice.
