Dr. Gary Bernard Coleman, MD

Seriously there is something going on with this guy. He showed NO empathy to my situation, cut me off when I was explaining my symptoms. I heard from others that he has very poor demeanor and shows no emotion, basically a robot. Avoid this guy if at all possible. He is a real piece of work.

Dr. Coleman used Ciprodex drops during outpatient surgery, extremely expensive, obtained from the hospital pharmacy. It is considered a self-administered drug by Medicare so the hospital charged me $561. It is considered non-formulary by my prescription plan so they denied my claim as well. I asked Dr. Coleman's office to call in a pre-authorization in order to get it covered and my money reimbursed. His office refused. I instituted the exception from the insurance company. His office would not provide the information requested such as diagnosis, reason for using non-formulary, etc. All they provided was the date of service so it was denied. So I am out $561 for a designer prescription drug I was not informed of, did not fill and the doctor's office refused to justify.

Dr. Coleman is very kind and patient. It is evident that he has advanced training and I like that he is an MD.
