Dr. Gary Lee Foster, MD

I have now been without my medications for 5 days. My pharmacy first called in a refill request 6 days ago. I went to the pharmacy twice to pick up the meds, only to be told they had not heard from his office. They suggested I call his office - which I did today. His office FINALLY called back saying I needed to come in for blood work & then an appointment would be booked after blood work came back. REALLY?!?! I then call back up to his office & speak to the woman that left the message. She tells me she is filling in for Dr Foster's nurse (who has family emergency). I say, so you are covering for his nurse & you haven't checked his messages for 5 days? That's NOT acceptable! I finally asked that they fill the prescriptions (partial- WHATEVER!!) and I will find a new cardiologist. Meanwhile, I still haven't heard back from them. Very frustrated!

My wife has blood pressure issues. One week ago she tried to have her prescription refilled at the pharmacy. They said she had no more refills and had to contact the doctor. 1 week later and they have yet to respond to either my wife's phone calls or the pharmacist's calls. My wife called them and their office staff whined and moaned about being a day and a half behind and understaffed and basically told my wife that they would get to her request when they got to it.This is a doctor who will end up ruining his practice based on not managing his people, including his office manager. Avoid them at all cost as cardiology isn't something that can be dallied around with and waiting on pathetically lazy, whiny people to do their damned job.
