Dr. Gary Alan Rada, MD

I saw this Doctor since 1983 till his retirement in 2018- what an outstanding human being and a fantastic quality doctor- his like will not be seen again. The new youngsters are terrible. I'm just sorry that he and I grew old together. Enjoy your well earned retirement Dr. Rada- You are one helluva guy! I sure miss you man!!

Dr Rada is an one of a kind doctor , there isn't another like him. His knowledge over seeds the rest and his care and compassion puts him above the rest. Dr rada has been my doctor for 27 years and there is no one I trust more , he has saved my life when I was diagnosed with kidney cancer , he knows the best doctors in all fields , im going to be lost without him so wish he wasn't retiring , im going to miss him more then I can say

I have been going to Dr. Radas office since the 70’s, he has treated my husband as well as myself. My husband passed 10 years ago now but Dr. Rada was so great with him, my husband really admired and trusted him. As for myself, I think he is wonderful. He pays close attention to my every question, he takes the time to explain. He has on several occasions called me personally with test results. I appreciate his caring way. When we moved to Phoenix in 1982 we had an incredible stroke of luck when we found Dr. Rada. He’s been our family Dr. ever since and his treatment has been excellent. He knows us, cares about us, and treats us as family. We really believe that he would come to our house to treat us if we asked him to do so. It’s impossible to imagine a finer family Dr. any time or any place. We will be forever grateful to this one of a kind Dr. Thank you for all that you do, Dr. Rada.

Dr. Rada is a caring physician and a fantastic diagnostician. He stays current on all new medical information and spends necessary time with his patients. He asks pertinent questions and explains things in a way his patients can understand the diagnosis and subsequent treatment

After 38 years of being a patient I began having severe back pain. I asked for to be sent to a back surgeon, was told I would be sent to a pain clinic instead. After 2 plus years and no relief I called and was passed on from Dr. Rada to another Dr. In the practice siting insurance reasons! After 3 occasions of this and my blood pressure meds being changed constantly I finally had it! When I called with my concerns I was again told I had to see a Pa, Korin Kayler who ordered another MRI to see if my back had worsened, and yet again another referral to a pain Dr. I did my own research and found my own Dr. With a great success rating who ordered his own MRI. Turned out my bulging dscs had turned into herniated discs. Shortly after I yet again asked for a referral to a back surgeon and was called by the Pa and left a nasty message wanting to know why I had gone behind her back to another provider. I answered her message with the answer I got, insurance is not accepted by her anymore. I… once againg tossed around as I had been! I have been miss diagnosed and over medicated so often I felt like crap. When I called about a medication question I was met with a nasty message which stated we won't give you narcotics! My question was regarding my blood pressure. I was so insulted I called and asked why they would even say that to me, I did not want narcotics and that was not the reason for my call, the nurse simply said well that is what he said! 2 weeks later I got a letter saying find another Dr. I used to trust Dr. Rada with my health and the health of my 5 daughters and now considering forcing him to answer to a court for his poor treatment of me! Would a phone call asking about the the communication issues at his office be too much to ask after 36 years?

I now live in Ohio, but return to Az every other year or more. After being away I am still his patient when I'm in Az. I have been seeing Dr. Rada sincethe early 70's and he hasn't changed a bit, still the most caring doctor I willever have. We are so lucky to have him.He's there before sun-up and after dark, as long as a patient needs him, he is there for you. Just wish I could clone him back here. Phoenix you are so lucky.I've NEVER been rushed out, he takes all the time you need to answer questions andmakes you feel at ease. Goes that extra1000 miles for you, a true "old fashioneddoctor" from yester year.

Nurse says Dr. Rada knows and wants patients to wait more than 90 minutes to be brought back to exam room and than needing to waiting in exam room an additional 30 minutes. Doctor rushes in, talks fast, exams for a a minute, writes and RX, and out of the room! No more than 10 minutes allowed per patient
