Dr. Gary Don Snook, MD

I had surgery on my back by Dr. Snook and I woke up in the worse pain then I started with. I now have severe pain in my foot and leg and he gave me no explanation why now I am on pain meds and cannot even hike anymore.

I read the reviews people wrote about him online, I dismissed them and decided to give him a chance. He was really rude and did not care about what I had to say, I told him in was physically unable to do certain things and he had me try to do them, he noticed the physical discomfort and pain that it put me in and he was rude about it and continued to try to get me to do them. After I explained to him AGAIN why and what it was doing he ignored me and continued to poke and prod me. I repeated myself again and I asked him to take it easy on me he ignored me continued to be really rough with me. I do understand that he has to check everything, but I didn't think that it was necessary for him to be so rough. Long story short, he is terrible, absolutely horrible. Do not go to him.

I am in a lot of pain and have MRI and X-ray results for a spine injury and was told by Dr Snook to take aspirin and lay on a heating pad. He acting very annoyed when I asked questions about my situation and rushed me out of his office. I will never go back!

I went for some guidance on preventive measures.(Physical therapy, yoga, disk shots etc) Dr. Snooks response, I CANNOT HELP YOU MAKE THAT DECISION. He was cold, and at times rude, and seemed annoyed we were asking questions. His answer to me was take aspirin and lay on a heating pad! Really?? Do not recommended him at all. If there was a zero stars that's what he would deserve.

Dr Snock diagnosed my problem, had surgery. He showed concerned and compassion of my pain. I hated for him to leave Texas.

He was completely dismissive of my pain. Actually said things like “too much paperwork” and “too hard to due.” This man was curt to the point of being rude and was very good at relaying just how disinterested in doing his job he was. I was actually in tears after the appointment. If I could give negative points I would. Clearly it’s time for this man to retire!

Dr. Snook is a very professional and caring doctor. Able to detect problems outside of area of practice and make recommendations on what procedure to follow for best results. He operated on my knee many years ago and did an excellent job. When I found out he was back in Corpus Christi I made an appointment with him with existing problem.

My experience with Dr. Snook was excellent! He saw me on an emergency basis at his office on a Saturday to examine my knee, he himself put it in a cast and I was very greatful that he took the time outside of normal business hours to see me. He was easy to talk to and had a great bedside manner. Since then, I have referred several friends and family to him for treatment. Dr. Snook would be the first one to call if I ever needed any medical advice!

Dr. Snook saw my daughter on an emergency basis, and was caring, skillful and professional.
