Dr. Gary Alan Trager, MD

I did not feel he cared one bit. Did not help me get better. I changed doctors and immediately was cured completely.

From the time you walk thru the door you are not at all impressed. Reception is almost non existent. In that office they will be happy to do as much testing as needed but not readily share results. It seems his staff is totally disorganized at most times. Bring a sweater because of the chill in the office.

Dr. Trager is very knowledgable and caring. Two qualities that makes a great physician.

My son, Dr. Krager, is wonderful human being, a caring person, and a man among men! I myself feel as well-cared for as a tiny kitten! I think anyone would be extremely fortunate to even get to hear his input, let alone talk with him. He is so full of information and expertise; really, we patients are nothing but lucky to have a doctor of his caliber working among the people in our area. I simply can't say enough good things about him and his above-normal intelligence. You really can't go wrong trusting your care to my son, Dr. Krager.

In person, Dr. Trager seems more interested in showing how knowledgeable he is than in actually helping patients. Then when you leave the office he completely forgets about you. I had multiple test results sent to his office, and not once did he call me when they arrived to discuss them. In one instance I had to call multiple times over a period of nearly a month, then finally got a call from a receptionist to tell me that he wouldn't discuss anything over the phone and I had to make an appointment.Dr. Trager is nearing retirement, and I get the sense that he's already got one foot out the door.

Dr Trager is a kind, caring, knowledgable and dedicated doctor. He spends a great deal of time examining patients each visit and listens. Rare for a doctor today. He is highly skilled and recognised as an expert by the federal government and other doctors. At your appointment you see the doctor, not a nurse or PA !The person above must have an axe to grind.

Dr. Trager is unprofessional, keeps you waiting in the examining room for at least 1 1/2 hours every visit, has a very high opinion of himself and lets you know it. I have never heard a good thing said about him from other doctors or patients. There are too many doctors out there to settle for the abuse you will have inflicted upon you if you choose to go to Dr.Trager.
