Compassionate. Very knowledgeable. Great bedside manner. Takes her time with you. Easy to talk with. Great support staff.

Dr. Gem Ashby is the most caring and genuine doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! She knows her patients well and treats them as family. I started going to her when I first moved down to Tampa and followed her when she transferred into her own practice. Anything you are going through she is there for you and even after having a couple year lapse between visits with her she remembered every detail about my health and family life. All doctors should take note of her etiquette and replicate it. I couldn't even come up with a single thing for her to improve on as she is quite literally perfect. Thank you Dr. Ashby for always making me feel like my health truly matters to you. You are one in a million! (I have now moved out of the Tampa area and still drive 1.5/2hrs just to continue to see her as my OBGYN)

Great follow up by Dr. Ashby. Called to see how I was doing without me calling the office. Took alot of time to explain my case.

she botched my son's circumcision. Took too much skin off and he had to go in for a second surgery to repair. When I called her out on it, she was condescending and called me sweet heart the entire time. Said it was elective and she can't always guarantee the results. Also told me if I got a breast augmentation, if I didn't like the results, I couldn't get a refund. Don't let her touch your baby boys....she'll mame them for life. Terrible experience...I wouldn't let her touch me or any member of my family!

No complaints! Talking to her feels like talking to a friend. She is absolutely wonderful and so good at making me feel comfortable during uncomfortable appointments. She also explains everything she does and takes the time to answer every question. Awesome doctor.
