Dr. Geoffrey Hunt Cox, MD

While Dr. Cox personally is fine, his office staff are anything but. They are rude and unprofessional and treat patients with disrespect. I asked for an appointment with Dr. Cox and was told I'd have to wait six months for an appointment. I asked the staff member if she was serious and she rudely replied to in essence wait my turn and deal with it. I'll be finding an alternate provider, which is a shame since I've been seeing Dr. Cox for seven years. Oh well.

I have been cared for by Dr. Cox for a number of years. He has treated me successfully for several different conditions. I will recommend him to anyone needing a good, compentant doctor.

Our entire family has seen Dr. Cox since we moved to Austin seven years ago, and frankly, we are delighted to have finally found such an excellent physician. For adults and children alike, he is an intelligent, thorough physician who listens well and is easy to talk to. He's thoughtful and truly considers what the best options are for each patient, and he responds appropriately to questions and is eager to provide detail and specifics. He's also understanding about patients' lifestyle choices and desires to limit pharmacological intervention. He is a great supporter of new parents and attachment parenting. We love Dr. Cox, and after moving to north to central Austin, we still drive south to this practice for our medical care.

I have seen this man for for years then I can count. Over those years he has moved his office and I as well as many others followed him because we love and respect him. AT times there had been some issues with the staff but if you mention it to him, it will be taken care of or at least looked at. This doctor and his staff saved my husbands life when he was having a heart attack in there office, so I owe him the world and anyone that speaks ill of him doesn't know him as the careing person he is.
