This was a routine visit that overall went well. I was impressed with the safety pre-cautions. My temperature was taken before I entered the office suite. I noticed the waiting room chairs were placed at least 6 feet apart, staffers, frequently sanitized the lounge chairs after patient use, and the lounge had a nice popular cable station on broadcast. My only issue was I waited over an hour before I was seen and that's not my typical wait time for these visits. Dr. Kaplan was very attentive, gave me great healthcare advice and answered my questions. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Kaplan is an excellent doctor. He explains the issues and photo of my eyes. He conducts careful examination. I have been seeing him for 15+ years and always received excellent care.

Dr. Kaplan was late for the surgery and over 90 minutes late for the follow up appointments. I still have the same blind spot that was the reason for the surgery which was painful. Never going back to the Retina Group.

The office visit was great but the office staff is another thing. First when I arrived the front desk staff was talking about personal business and took a minute to acknowledge my presence. Come to I find out later my referral was lost for my visit, it wasn't scanned into the system. And now I was responsible for a bill for not having a referral. The office in Greenbelt should do much better.

A very kind and courteous doctor. Spent a long time at the exam and gave me the various options and his prognosis. Gave me a lot of time and eased my concerns. A great person and an excellent doctor.
