Just called to set an appointment for my mom, and accidentally provided some inaccurate information. The receptionist snapped at me a little. Pretty much the last thing i needed after horrible news I received about my mom's worsening medical conditions. I'm sad and sorry to say I snapped back that I was doing the best I can, but when she kept arguing, I hung up on her. Not my proudest moment. She may have made things bad, but I didn't have to make things worse. I guess when I call a place to make an appointment for an ailing family member I expect what I get everywhere else: a little patience and understanding, and a good attitude. That's what you get paid for. I've been on edge for an hour now after hanging up, and trying to cope with all the things my mom needs. how about a little help next time?
