Dr. George Michael Dmytrenko, MD

He was an awesome and caring doctor. He knew his field and was always concerned with the health of his patients. When in the waiting area, I never heard a payient speak negative about him. Wish he was not retired.

He doesn't listen to his patients, isn't empathetic to anything that they're going through, rushes out of the room. Doesn't hear you out misdiagnosed me and put me on all the wrong medicine.

It saddens me greatly that there seems to be less and less doctors who actually care about people and look forward to helping them. It's a scary feeling having many symptoms and not know why but more so when a "Doctor" could careless at helping you to find the cause. I went to Dr. (Whatever his last name is, I don't care to look for the spelling) with numerous symptoms. My Ortho suspected MS and suggested I see a Neurologist. My first appointment I was told I needed an MRI of my brain and cervical spine. Several days after getting the MRI one of his nurses called me and we had a rather lengthy conversation. She explained what was found on the MRI was Chiari Malformation and it was the reason for all the various symptoms, she explained all the what's and how's and even went as far to tell me I wouldn't need corrective surgery now but that I may need it in the future (brain surgery that is) and then she scheduled me for a follow up appointment. This is where things take a turn and… become quite strange. Dr Dymtrenko walked in and without even greeting me said "you're fine and all clear" HUH? I mean it seriously could not have been any more opposite compared to what HIS NURSE just discussed with me. You can imagine how confused I was and of course I reluctantly mentioned our conversation in which replied "she's wrong" he then went on to berate me and exclaimed that I came in with a "laundry list of symptoms" Oh should I not keep track of what exactly is plaguing my body? This whole experience was rather traumatizing and strange. Over the years I've talked to numerous people (including doctors) that have all said he isn't a nice nor a good doctor. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to go to him. This is all very sad. Being a doctor whom deals with some very scary diseases and conditions he should be caring, patient, and just have the want to help people.

Horrible front office. On hold for 45 mins. Impossible to get through to make appointments or ask a question. 2 people work up front & they totally ignored the phone. Not nice

Doctor says he knows multiple sclerosis but has no idea. He walks in the room then gone in 2 min. Very bad nero for m.s. i would not suggest him at all!! Did nothing to help me

Dr. Dmytrenko is always kind, patient, and takes time to answer all of my questions.

This was my doctor in the ICU and he had ordered an MRI for me at my request because I felt something was wrong because of various symptoms of falling and vision issues. He told me all was fine. Went to get my records several weeks later only to see in them that I had a pituitary macroadenoma and now in the process of finding out that my hormones are all messed up and were causing mental issues, exhaustion, visual disturbances and the falls as it was pressing optic nerve upon further evaluation. I think he could have been kind enough to inform us of this. Had I not gone on my own to get my records I would have never known and had it continued growth, could have cause blindness. HORRIBLE bedside manner. "I know what I am doing, shut up" kind of attitude. Blows you off the minute he sees any mental illness component which actually was the pituitary TUMOR I was not even told about. He needs to get his act together.

I thought Dr. D was delightful. He had a great bedside manner and went over all my concerns. He even had a sense of humor. His staff was great! They answered all my questions and were very impathetic and compassionate towards me.

Totally misdiagnosed my wife and didn't have any time to listen to symptoms. Since my wife has had MRIs at the Mayo clinic where she was diagnosed with MS. Dr D. told my wife in the ER previously "You look too good to have something seriously wrong with you"..."You don't have MS or Lupus". Spent total of <5 min with her.

The first time I saw doctor Dmytrenko, he ordered many test to find out what was wrong with me. The second time I saw him, he had a diagnosis. He spent as much time as needed to explain what was wrong and answered all my questions. He is wonderful!
