Dr George Haas

arrogant, rude, condescending, dismissive, unprofessional and reading these reviews my feelings are verified,the girl taking info in the room before he came in must have been related she too was horrendous too.

This was probably the worst experience that I've ever had at a doctor's office. He was dismissive, rude, cut me off when I attempted to tell him what was wrong and didn't even examine me fully. He asked me a couple of questions and wouldn't allow me to answer them, cutting me off without hearing/listening to what I was about to say. Also, I had tried to tell him that I was doing piriformis stretches to try to relieve the pain (my degree is in dance therapy, so I do know what to do but knew that I needed more at this point). He told me not to do those exercises, that weren't good for what is wrong and then handed me a sheet with the exact piriformis stretches that I told him I was doing (he obviously wasn't listening to me). He then said that I don't need physical therapy, even after I said I'd been doing those exercises all along. He then proceeded to prescribe a medication that I can't take and got belligerent with me saying that I HAVE TO TAKE IT when I said that I didn't want to… take it without asking me why (I had side effects after taking this medication for over 5 years and I can't take it). FYI, I had to ask repeatedly for a referral to PT. He didn't seem to want to do that for me, but I did insist and he finally told the nurse to set me up with physical therapy. I've been to another doctor in this practice for my knee and had a WONDERFUL experience. I am wondering why they keep Dr. Haas in this practice.

thought the appointment went well, had the X-rays, Dr discussed issues, explained procedures to follow and do a follow up on the 13th

This is the worst doctor I have ever encounter with in my whole life ! Dr. Haas was very rude , Cold and didn’t care about me .I told him I wanted to take my kids to Disney World but I was having so much pain in my foot .I asked him can I get a wheelchair or something ?His first response to me in front of the kids was maybe you shouldn’t go to Disney World ! And walk out I felt so bad I don’t ever want to see him again

My experience was the same as many of the other reviewers. I have never been so patronized, dismissed, and disrespected by a doctor. He is rude and argumentative. He may be a good clinician, but good communications and trust are essential. I did however like the practice. The nursing/support staff are very good and professional. I will ask for a different doctor when I need to go back AND read his/her review before I go!!

He did a hip Replacement on me a few years ago that left me with a dropped foot. After years of therapy , I still have to walk with a walker and wear a brace.I am so angry I did not research him more, and i am still in pain.

Recently I had need of an orthopedist. What a mistake to see Dr.Haas. Never introduced himself nor cared about the reasons why I was there. He was rude, patronizing, and argumentative. Even though my X-ray was on the computer he did not explain why I needed a cortisone injection in my hip other than it was bursitis. No complete exam. I asked about my sciatica and was dismissed immediately. I had made this appointment because I have pain in my coccyx area! He was 100% sure his cursory diagnosis was accurate. As a patient it would have behooved him to listen to my complaints. I have never experienced a physician so unprofessional as he. Not every doctor needs a caring bed side manner, but Dr Haas can surely use some learning in that direction!!!

I can only blame myself!!! I should have read the negative reviews before I paid a visit to this doctor! I was rushed and he was rude, condescending, and argumentative! It was my first visit to him and he wouldn't listen to me about my medical history!! Bedside manner and empathy have lot to be desired! I will be finding another doctor!!

Dr Haas is terrible. He told my issues were from all my surgeries I had and that I never should have had the surgeries done. He proceeded to tell me that the one surgery I had was not necessary. All without knowing a complete history of why I had the surgery. He falsified records saying he did a full range of motion exam. I don't know about you but I do not call touching my knee in a seated position and then telling me to squat as a full range of motion exam. He proceeded to give me an injection that he never got my consent for. When i almost passed out from the injection, he said, "What do you want to lay down or something?" He then charged my insurance company $250 for a procedure he did not perform. After yelling at me for the surgeries on the knee he was not evaluating, he released me from his care because I was too complicated. The ONLY good thing he did for me was refer me to the Cleveland Clinic.
