George Nassif, Jr., DO, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with special training in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. A product of the colorectal surgery fellowship program at AdventHealth Medical Group, Dr. Nassif was invited to join the practice's esteemed medical team upon completion of his training. His many areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, pelvic 3-D endorectal ultrasound, transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS), single-incision laparoscopic surgery, colonoscopy for both screening and treatment, colorectal cancer surgery, pelvic floor disorders, stomas and hernia issues. He is an award-winning graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA, the Allegheny General Hospital General Surgery Residency program in Pittsburgh, and the Lankenau Medical Centers fellowship in minimally invasive laparoscopic colorectal cancer in Wynnewood, PA.

For my full review/story, check it out on Google Reviews. Dr Nassif lied to me and told me he could fix me up, after several doctors weren't able to. So I was already skeptical, but he reassured me he would make me better. Turns out, he made me WORSE than I was when I started. His office lied to me about the cost, the hospital told me wrong information, including what time to show up so I had to wait for 2 hours by myself before my surgery before they even OPENED... I had to pay over $5,000 more than what they initially told me. After the surgery, what Dr Nasiff once told me he could fix, said "oh thats just your skin, you can't fix that." So he basically lied to me to make me believe he could help me, I went through the worst surgery i've ever had and very painful without any helpful pain meds... I had to beg for hours to get even just a little bit of relief from Hydrocodone after being cut open and stitched up... The entire experience was a nightmare and I cannot… express how much I regret going here and choosing Dr. Nassif. :( Very heartbroken about all of this and still have THOUSANDS of dollars I'm supposed to pay them for NOTHING... How is this fair?!

Dr.Nassif performed two surgeries on my husband. He is a wonderful doctor,he explained everything and he really cared about my husband.

Can’t get any better than Dr Nassif. Has all the skill and compassion you could want from your surgeon!

Dr is quick to perform surgery, but if there are complications, you will not get his time or attention. He is always busy with conferences, training and anything but his patients. You will see the dozens of residents often, but seldom the surgeon himself. He doesn't invest time in following your care and related issues. He will ignore you until you get better, or his time is mandatory. Then he will do the minimum and disappear again. Do yourself a favor, and find a competent doctor! You will live a long life if you do!

After experiencing pain for a bump in my rectum, I was referred to Dr. Nassif. He was extremely brief in conversation. He inserted a finger in to try to feel the spot. Wrote some suppositories that were highly expensive and did not help. Notified and got even a more expensive cream. He would not do an anal pap. Went to another doctor who would do the test after fighting with insurance for over a month and it came back abnormal. This could have been treated then if he had just done the test.
