I was referred to Dr. Rees from Baptist Health care on 9 mile road. He was very thorough and advised me that a surgery was unnecessary that I really didn’t have a problem. But I was concerned because I had a lump under the skin in my chest. He explained everything to me and I chose to have it removed because an acquaintance of mine had recently died from a cancerous lump. I like this man as a person and as a doctor and if I have to have surgery again this is the man I will call.

Omar abed fraudulently commented on medical and surgical care as if it was my post. It was not my statement or post. Please direguard his maliciously febal attempt to discredit in slanderous manner personal circumstances that are not his concern. Sometime in 2015 Judy Lilly needed an operation and had a surgery done. Come to find out a cap and gauze was forgotten and she was closed. It was not known for 18 months. Judy Lilly filed a lawsuit for over 2 million, under the agreement she would not speak of it, and it would not be opened records. It is my opnion that all doctors should be held accountable. I will keep you updated on the outcome.

I did not feel comfortable or confident in the first surgeon I was referred to after meeting him and hearing what he planned to do. His plan of care was not at all tailored for my medical needs to be met and reduce/prevent complications. I went to Dr. Rees for a second opinion. Dr. Rees was very thorough and agreed that for my specific needs, a mesh that my body would absorb while healing was the wise choice and has a prudent plan of care for my short and long term recovery. My surgery is tomorrow and I honestly am VERY happy to have switched to him. Both he and his office staff have been great so far. Very prompt on appointments, while giving me excellent, attentive care. Great bedside manner so far, which for a surgeon is hard to find. I will update this review after the procedure.

My Mother had a lumpectomy with this Quack. He made her wait for 12 hours fasting due to emergencies that came up. She needed to be seen after her surgery due to infection and his staff gave her a hard time. He then told her he did not get the parameters and would have to go back in. Run!
