Dr. Georgia Jeane Kane

I sought care for chronic migraines as a veteran that are significantly affecting my ability to function and maintain consistent work performance. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Kane was disappointing. Despite clearly explaining the frequency and severity of my migraines, and how they are forcing me to leave work early, miss work entirely and impacting my reliability, I felt my condition was minimized and not taken seriously. There was little meaningful discussion about how the migraines are affecting my daily life or ability to sustain employment. I expected a more thorough evaluation on functional limitations, documentation needs, and a comprehensive treatment plan. Instead, the interaction ultimately felt one-sided, with little effort to understand or acknowledge the real impact the migraines, and a clear lack of empathy through the visit.

Best doctor ever

I am a US Army Veteran. I saw her one time for severe migraines. So this being the very first time you see this “dr” you don’t think they will change a bunch of pain medications. She is not and was not my pain management “dr”. She decided on her own to cut my pain medication in half one week before Christmas. I received my medications and I was stunned, afraid and panicked. I call the pharmacy and found out that she changed my medications. Did she know I have a heart condition or other conditions that are affected by pain. I called my doctor but she was on vacation. I called anyone I could think of. I was sick from the change and missed my Christmas with my niece. She had no right. I have a complicated multiple pain management plan. But she thought she knew better. She is a “shame”.

She should have been a waitress at Denny's instead of a doctor, because there mistakes are not dangerous. She changed my medical plan which was working for 2.5 years and then ordered and gave me the wrong medicine for MY migranes. Although she is responsible for managing my migraine pain relief, she told me she does not have the time to see me and I should go the the emergency room. She told me that all her other patients respond well to 100 units of Botox (one bottle) even though the recommended dosage is 155 units. I don't think the one dose cures all technique is sound medical practice but I did not graduate medical school. I only know what works for me.

Dr. Laliotis has been treating me for several months as follow up to a massive cancer surgery. I became dependent on morphine as a result. She is helping me wean off the medication. I have never met a more dedicated or caring physician in my life. She is one of a kind and truly amazing. For anyone in my condition, I hope you are so fortunate to have this woman in your care!
