Dr. Gerald L Gilroy, DO

Awful experience. I went there for a throat issue and he told me he "does not work on throats" and prescribed me allergy medication. I guess the 'T' in 'ENT' stands for "this guy is way too old to be practicing medicine". I don't know who gave him a good review but if you at all respect your privacy, or that of others in the office at the same time as you, avoid Gilroys office. He refused to close the exam room door during my appointment. He would yell down the hall to his staff about diagnosis, medication etc with all patient rooms open. I heard every other diagnosis of every other patient being seen while I was there (and they heard mine) as well as their medications, family history etc. He is consistently over an hour behind schedule, I waited an hour and 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. He is very rude, his staff is also very rude and seemingly unable to do their job. It took them four tries to get my temperature and they still never got an accurate reading.… Eventually, she "just wrote in 96". The "dr" would interrupt me, he would cut me off, tell me I was wrong etc. He actually wrote me a prescription, on a prescription pad to "do research on the internet". What a joke.

Absolutely ridiculous... waited for 45 minutes and left. Who does this guy think he is?

Very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. Highly recommend Dr. Gilroy.
