Dr. Gerald Muthu

I left his practice as it was his way or not at all. Insisted on labs every 3 months and withheld maintenance prescriptions til I came in. Asked if I wanted a flu shot on Oct. I felt it was too early returned in Dec. and they insisted I do an office call. They may call it proactive but I call it greedy.

The young fellow doing the preexam very inappropriate in how he asked questions and very rude.He was upset because I could not spell the names of my medicine. I would never use this office .

I've been muthus patient for over ten years and have seen and experienced just about it all. I admire dr muthus but, the front desk makes me stressed out. It's. Muthus always posts if you have any concerns or questions come see her. What a joke. She doesn't care to hear anything what you have to say she just talks at you and like you are beneath her. The "receptionist" thinks she is running the show. I have spoke to muthus about the trouble she causes me just trying to make an appt... he says I will take care of it then once out in the lobby no change. I'm so tired of being disrespected and scolded over trying to make an appt. I need a doctor's care but they make it stressful for I hate going in there. Dr. Muthus does not understand how bad it is and the countless patients that are unhappy going there. It's too bad becuz I trust him and want him to be my doctor I just am not strong enuf to continue with the crap nor do I want to.

I work with elderly people which often involves helping them follow up on medical referrals and orders. This office staff is by far the rudest staff I have encountered and I work with several Dr's in the area. I was hung up on twice today by the staff and the lady who was speaking with me had a sarcastic tone during the entire conversation. Very unprofessional and not looking out for the patients best interest.

I had two appointments with Dr Muthu, and both appointments, I waited 2 hours to be seen. At one point his staff asked me, so I commented about this - I said, I really like the doctor, but the wait is too long - I work. Then I had to cancel an appointment. When I returned to the office for a scheduled appt, the staff actually seemed to take great pleasure in firing me (loudly) from their practice in front of a waiting room of at least 10 people.

Told me I was too young for pain medicine. Said it was in my head and I only wanted pain medicine for no reason. When I have xrays and mri's of the injury and a correct diagnosis that he gave me. But wouldn't help me manage my pain so I could keep my job.

I called today to make an appointment with Dr. Muthu's office. I have been experiencing some thyroid concerns as well as an allergy problem. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist started questioning my making an appointment since it had been since 2012. I explained I had not been sick since then. She said I see you have prescriptions, who has been filling them? I said my gynecologist. She put me on hold and never came back. I called back 5 minutes later to ask her what her name was, and she asked why? I told her that I have never been treated so rudely on the phone to make an appointment, she then said, you have had other doctors fill prescriptions for you. I told her the only reason I was contacting Dr. Muthu is that my elderly parents have been seeing him for over 10 years plus & swear by him & she then again put me on hold. I am writing this review because I do not believe that any professional occupation should treat a potential client in this regard & if business… is that good for Dr. Muthu then good for him because I will discourage people from staying away from his great business.
