Dr. Nishith Suresh Shah, MD

Been having Dental work all my life. Lots of bridges. Accident at age 16. Worst experience I have ever had. Implants placed less than 2 years ago. Have to have revision now. When implants were placed he could not get me numb payed for sedation, awake the whole time heard everything. My pain was the worst pain I have ever experienced. I have a very high pain tolerance. Implants were never right. Terrible swollen gums. Went time after time to Dr Shaw and my Dentist. Dr shaw wanted to open up my gums and do surgery again. NO WAY. I found another Dentist and had to have extensive gum surgery. Almost a year later implants are replaced and finally getting my smile back. Very expensive mistake. Office staff never returned my calls and Dr Shaw never once called to see how I was doing or why I did not return. Stay way from that office. Really bad from the office staff to the Doctor.

I had an open-bite and had a midface lefort. Dr. Nish Shah didn't tell me, until the day before the surgery, that he was going to have to make changes to my nose. This was after two years of already wearing braces to prepare for the surgery. He assured me that I wouldn't notice any difference, and that all of the changes would be made to the inside of my nose only. Now the tip of my nose is rotated up very high, my left nostril looks like a canyon, and is super exposed. I used to have to tilt my head very far back to look up my nose, but now it is very easy to see inside of it when I barely tilt my head back at all. This surgery was done when I was 24. I am 33 now, and I still regret having the surgery to this day. It greatly impacted my self-esteem, and I hate taking photos. Many times I have tried to contact him to ask him to fix my nose, or to pay to have it corrected by someone else, but he has never offered to do so. Honestly, I would be afraid to let him try again. I… feel like he was deliberately deceptive waiting until the day before my surgery to inform me that my nose would be changed. Had I known that from the very beginning I would have reconsidered. He was paid $16,000 dollars to do the surgery, and he lied to me. This experience hurt me beyond words. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Shah is the oral surgeon to go to! His staff is very nice and so is the Doc. Minimal wait time and healing time was quick. You can tell they really care about their patients. Thanks Dr. Shah and everyone at AZORAL!

Dr. Shaw and his staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave very detailed instructions. The night of my daughter's surgery Dr. Shaw called to check on her. She was worried once and they got us in immediately for a check up.

If possible, DO NOT let Dr. Shah be your oral/facial surgeon. After 44 years of life in and out of dental offices, I have finally concluded that DR. NISH SHAH is the WORST oral surgeon I have ever had the misfortune of knowing. He is incredibly unprofessional, constantly tries to squeeze money out of his patients in any way possible, and doesn't carry a high standard of moral values or ethics. For a recent visit, I was forced to wait over 2 hours for a mere consultation. There was only one other patient and I could clearly hear him walking around. STAY AWAY FROM DR. SHAH!

I went to him for tooth implant, he did not spent time and he was rushing to finish to go to next patient, after I waited six month he told me it is infected and had to redo it. He removed the implant and added more bone to it and waited 4 more months then he put the implant and chipped my other tooth when he was drilling it, he did not tell me he chipped my tooth, when I told him he chipped my other tooth he pretended he did not hear me but on next appointment he did admit and I was in pain most of the time. He told me to see my dentist and see what he says, my dentist called him and let him know that I complain for pain and he said he did not do anything wrong. My dentist referred me to Endodontic and told me that there is no enough bone on the left side. On my last appointment with him he said my tooth is ok, but I do get pain once a while and burning sinsation on my gum. He knows the implant is not done right. What I was so upset about it is that he was not honest and was not… carefull doint the implant.

Dr Shah has performed 2 jaw surgeries on me and multiple minor procedures. He has done a fantastic job at explaining what he will be doing and caring for me after. He has made sure to keep the pain level low and taken the time answer any questions I have had. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family!

My appointment was rescheduled twice! Very inconvenient! But that is the least of my concern at this point. Read on please.I paid for my procedure in full using insurance and Visa. All of my payments went through just fine. I was billed a week later for 10 dollars for unknown reasons. They have now sent me a bill for $152 and they will be attempting to collect more for late and collection fees for this unknown ten dollar charge.I am so appalled by the way this office operates I must make it known to others. I do not recommend using this man Nish Shah DMD or the office of AZ Oral: Their filthy business practices will cause them to reap what they sow.

Dr. Shah's office has an awesome staff!! Everyone is friendly and happy to be of help!! Everyone is knowledgeable and so compassionate. Dr. Shah was an amazing surgeon with great bedside manners, he even called us the night of surgery to check on my son! I have never had a doctor call and check on us before. GREAT STAFF GREAT DOCTOR! Overall a GREAT experience!!!
