Dr. Gerald Joseph Pise

He is an amazing surgeon and yes great person.

At this point this doctor should not be practicing in the medical field anymore. He was all over the place when I went in for my 1st visited. Also, his determination of what was wrong with my hand was crazy. He pricked me with a safety pin and asked me could I feel the pin stick. Then, he told me I had Carpal Tunnel, even though he pressed down harder each time on my fingers. Sorry, but this cannot be the way to tell if a person has Carpal Tunnel. I should know my wife had a nerve test done to find out she had it, but not me. I personally think this doctor lacked the ability to give correct treatment to his patients. If you go to this doctor be leery of the information you receive and research the information before surgery is conducted.

To start I have had surgery twice in my life and my result after surgery with Dr. Pise was very poor. I went to see Dr. Pise to have a Ganglion removed from between my fingers. While, I was at my first visit he diagnose me with having Carpal Tunnel and flexor teno-- with a ganglion. Well to say the least I didnt want anything but the ganglion removed. When I came from surgery and went to his office on Monday the nurse took off the cast and I still had the ganglion I went in for. When I came back for my stitches to be removed I address this issue with the doctor and his reply was how long have you had this? I was so upset and angry about the question because that was the problem I came to be seen about. He said he could inject it if the ganglion doesnt go away. To say the least I went to another doctor months later and had it removed correctly. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone after the experience I have had. He should be out of business if he cannot perform a simple removal!… I think if it wasnt for his staff member he would really harm someone. They seem to be the glue of his facility. The receptionist was kind and willing to get me in to be seen as soon as possible. The nurse is wonderful, because she is very aware of the doctor needs and efficient with assisting him. The overall staff is the best thing about this doctor and his office.

Not a fan.Dr. Pise hurts.First endured 10 minutes of prolong poking by a large safety pin to prove I have carpal tunnel syndrome . This however was already identified using " modern methods" by a neurologist. Then suffered painful freeze spray twice for lengthy period of time which was not effective in numbing base of thumb for excrutiatingly painful steroid shots. Thumb is now stlll quite painful and very badly bruised 3 days later. Dr. Pise suggested he do surgery on my thumb. No waaay!

Dr. Pise has the experience and expertise to diagnose and treat your hand ailments. He is a very gentle and humble surgeon. I recommend him to anyone.
