Dr. Gerald Raymond Schultz, MD

I was sent to Dr Shultz's office by the VA for an eye exam and the whole experience was awful, I felt like I needed a hazmat suit just being in their filthy office. l have several issues I'd wanted checked and was told by Dr Shultz to just go to the 99¢ store for my glasses. When questioned about my cataracts, he said I didn't have them but if I went to enough doctor's I'd find someone to do the surgery!? He wouldn't answer any of my questions but had no problem asking me personal, irrelevant questions about my life. When the "exam" was completed he insisted I sit in the chair and wait until he finished his paperwork, there's definitely something wrong with that man. I told him I'm 62yo so I believe I'll be in the waiting room and your assistant can bring it to me. I will be reporting this office and Dr Shultz to the state of California Optometry Board and the BBB. FYI, that's a very old picture of him...he graduated medical school in 1963!

There is no better eye doctor than Dr. Gerald R. Shultz world wide...just now had gotten cactus ?? in my eye and after going to urgent care since dr.'s office was closed..urgent care sent me to Palm Springs hospital, which didn't get it right...was able to see Dr. Shultz next morning to treat me and finally getting healed and the correct treatment. Thank you so much dr. You are truly an asset to the desert community. Have been going to dr for years and my husband and I have both gotten our cataract surgery years ago with 100% satisfaction.
