Dr. Geraldine Elaine G Tan, MD

I saw Dr. Tan for my back pain and other medical problems. I have been to different doctors and none of them helped me. Dr. Tan has the best bedside manner and was very easy to talk to. She listens and explains well. I highly recommend her.

I was visiting Napa and have been taken cared by Dr. Tan. She has an excellent bedside manner and took time to listen to me. I had medical issues that my primary care physician could not solve. She made my hospital stay less traumatic. I am so thankful to her.

I recently wasunder the care of Dr. Tan at a hospital where she participated in the role of, "hospitalist." She reviewed my records for a total of 3 minutes, said, "you're healthy, no problems" -- which isn't true, improperly completed my records indicating I had NO allergies when I have penicillin and sulfa allergies-- think about the consequences of that. She also told me I did not need and shouldn't bring my medications to the hospital. When I got to the hospital, they asked for all the medications I was taking so they could administer them to me--turns out that out of my half dozen medication, they didn't even HAVE 3 of them and I had no way to get them. Dr. Tan visited me in my room on two successive days-- the first day I told her what the problem was -- including a rash all over my body-- and she said, "OK, good" bye. The second day she said, "guess you don't need anything, bye." She not only did not help me, did not offer to help me but billed me almost $400.00 for the… privilege.Totally unsatisfactory-- and potentially very dangerous
