Dr. Gerard Jay Hunter, MD

This was the worst Dr. Experience I have ever had. When we were called back this Dr. Was in the process of yelling at an intern the same intern who had seen my son at the ER a few days earlier. Then this intern is who examined him again and still found nothing causing his headaches or the bleeding from his eye. Dr. Hunter spent less than five minutes with my son. Said there is absolutely nothing wrong with humans then proceeded to say I should have brought him in the day his eye was bleeding. Really how was I suppose to do that. But to top it off he then called our primary doctor and said that my son is a punk and faking. A punk? Really he was not rude or discourteous in any way.

INCORRECT PROCEDURE DONE ON PATIENT. DIDN'T LISTED TO PATIENT JUST DID WHAT HE WANTED TO DO. DR WAS UNCARING & RUDE & WASN'T WILLING TO ADMIT MISTAKE, JUST WANTED TO DO MORE. SCARS LEFT ON PATIENT.

INCORRECT & UNAUTHORIZED PROCEDURE PERFORMED ON A FAMILY MEMBER.

Dr. Hunter was the doctor I was referred to when my other eye doctor told me there was something wrong with my eye that was a bigger problem than he could handle. I was scared. I went to Doctor Hunter. He was amazing! He was so kind and compassionate. He took my family and me to a nice, comfortable room to reveal what the problem was. He operated on me, made the diagnosis and sent me to a cancer doctor for further care. Because of Dr. Hunter, I know I lived through this experience. He still follows up with me just to make sure I am doing ok. I highly recommend this doctor. Tulsa is so lucky to have such a specialized doctor.
