Dr. Gerard Paul Schmitz, MD

Dr. Gerard Schmitz is an ophthalmologist with over four decades of experience caring for patients with eye and vision conditions. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency training at Henry Ford Health System. With 43 years in practice, Dr. Schmitz brings extensive expertise to his specialty field. He speaks both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Schmitz practices at multiple locations throughout the Milwaukee area, including Aurora Advanced Healthcare and Aurora Health Center Milwaukee in Milwaukee, as well as Aurora Health Care in Menomonee Falls. He also sees patients at Ascension Columbia Saint Marys Womens Medical Center in Milwaukee and maintains an affiliation with Hshs Saint Clare Memorial Hospital.
