Gianna Marie Romano, MD

Dr. Gianna Romano is a cardiovascular disease specialist with a focus on pediatric care. She earned her medical degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2019, followed by a fellowship at the same institution in 2022. With 10 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Romano brings dedicated expertise to treating heart conditions in children and young people. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Romano practices at Children's Medical Center Dallas, where she focuses on treating congenital heart disease and managing high cholesterol in children and teens. Her clinical skills include performing ambulatory EKGs and Holter monitor studies to evaluate heart rhythm and function in young patients. She also provides therapeutic hypothermia treatments when medically appropriate for her patients.
