Dr Marshall does not care about Medi-cal patients

Called to make appointment, was told needed some additional would call back, they did 2 weeks later, had found another doctor,

Dr. Marshall is a good doctor. He is very good with managing my symptoms. His wife is the office manager and is very insecure. If she feels threatened by your presence, it shows and she will be rude to you and make you wait a long time just to get an appointment and make you wait a long time once you arrive in the office and looks for any excuse to bust in the room when the Dr is seeing you for treatment. She acts as if she is scared her husband is having fun if he is laughing with a patient behind closed doors. Sad to be so insecure that she is ruining patient visits. Dr. Marshall has to know but apparently he doesn't want to cause any problems at home. That's the downfall when working with your spouse.

Terrible, terrible terrible. All the way from office staff to the doctor. Wife is extremely rude and very protective of her husband. Dr. Marshall told my daughter she was to fat and needed to run a few laps and would be able to breath better. Did $1600.00 worth of labs and said she was fine. Took her to the "west side" and she was immediately diagnosed with severe lupus symptoms. Brain, lungs and heart were surrounded with inflammation and she was immediately put on monthly transfusions to attempt to stop any further damage to organs. Her present doctors were amazed that she was not tested and treated for Lupus. To top it all off Dr. Marshall sent $1600 lab bill to collections.......We are blessed my daughter did not succumb further internal damage and has learned to manage her Lupus through diet, exercise and prayer. Beware.....

I called this Dr because of the few good reviews it had. I called to ask what was the Dr availability on his appointment and the Receptionist told me she couldn't tell me until I faxed referral and Authorization from insurance company. I told her i wanted to check availability before I will ask my primary Dr to referral me there, she told me she couldn't tell me ANY AVAILABILITY OR APPROXIMATE AVAILABILITY till I spoke to a Pamela Person and that she will call me back when she could. The next day, which is today , 8 called back asking for Pamela since there was not a call back and the same lady with the same attitude told m we that Pamela couldn't come to the phone because the office was about to Close , at 4:15 pm, and that she will call me tomorrow. So I wonder if it takes this much just to find out when it's Dr next available appointment, what would happen with lab work, or refills , or asking Dr a question, .. I understand medical staff is busy but not being able… to give a simple approximation date on Dr appointment, really screams out not caring for patients or the clinic business, I wonder if Dr Marshall knows what his office is staff is doing and how they are representing his clinic.

Terrible front office staff!!

Dr. Marshall is one of the best, but his staff stinks.they are very unprofessional if they don"t like you they will make wait three to four hours;andput people ahead of you and manip-ulate you over the phone.
