Dr. Gobinder Singh Chopra, MD

This is the world's worst Dr. He is not interested in your health, only in how muchy money he can make from you. He will order a lot of tests and tell you he wants to do sleep studies, which also pay him a lot. If you care about this Dr. stay as far away from him as you can.

I don't wish to get into details about too much but I am beyond frustrated with this doctor and this office. After 1 year of expressing concerns and my concerns being brushed off I sought a second opinion. After 1 year of unnecessary seizure medication I was told by Mayo clinic that I did not have a seizure and should not have been put on seizure medication. Dr. Chopra did not listen to my concerns at all about the side effects of the medication and stated they were not a side effect of the medication. Fast forward 1 year later and I am told that all of the issues I had were side effects of my medication. There was a whole MS issue that is now nothing per Mayo. Upon further research of this doctor online and his billing practices I have great concerns about their billing and over medicating.

I have been seeing Dr Chopra ever since I had my stroke four and a half years ago, he treated me in the hospital, not only is he so knowlegable in his field, but I find him so supportive to my recovery, which is very important to me.

I’ve seen Dr. Chopra twice. While he was in the room, I felt like he was thorough. That’s the only good experience I’ve had. Because I was a new patient, he ordered every test and lab work. I appreciated that. I have been stable on the same medication for over TEN years. I have been seeing a neurologist once or twice a year for lab work and refills (maintenance). He refused to give me more than 4 months of medication, even though he just told me he likes to see patients every 4-6 months. When I called to reschedule because I was in vacation (I told them this 4 months ago), they reminded me to have lab work completed. I showed up at the lab and they didn’t have the lab request. I called Dr Chopra’s office when they opened and the answering service was on until 25 minutes AFTER office hours. I asked for a month of refills, but I have to jump through hoops to get it. I also explained that I waited for over an hour to have lab work completed and they said they only do paper requests. I… explained I had asked for it to be sent electronically and she replied, “I don’t see that written down.” I forgot to find a new doctor within the 4 months and now I’ll be stuck with him for at least one more appointment. You know, my appointments that are 3 minutes long and he doesn’t even sit down because there is nothing to talk about. I am assuming the frequent appointments are compensating for the patients leaving. Regardless, this office will cost you time and money.

Dr. Chopra is an exceptional doctor but his office staff is the worst I have experienced in 50 years living in LV. They are not friendly, they speak to you like you are an idiot and show now empathy. No one wants to be a neurology patient so you would think they would have some empathy and care about you, but they do not. I do like Dr. Chopra but dealing with his staff is unreal...

My daughter saw him after a skateboard accident. Without telling her, he had her drivers license suspended and refuses to release the hold unless she keeps seeing him and takes meds she doesn't want nor seem to need. Now she can't get a job because she can't drive even though there is nothing wrong with her!

Staff is some of the rudest staff out there. They do not care about the patients, are lazy and do not try to help you get a sooner apt for an emergency situation. The medical assistant is disrespectful, doesn’t listen and not willing to help you with medication refills. Worst staff ever

I have been going to Dr Chopra for about 10 years or more. He actually "talks" to me, if I'm not understanding something he will talk to me until I do. He try's to even looking outside of the box, as he is doing for me now. I am very Bless to have found Dr Chopra.

I was very fortunate that Dr Chopra was the neurologist on call when I was admitted to the hospital with a TIA. I have been to other neurologists and Dr Chopra is by far THE BEST!!. Besides being very caring, kind and concerned, he is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and so competent in his treatment of my continuing neurological issues.

my mother went to the surgery room walking and came out like a vegetal and the doctor after that day never spoke with us again !
