When at UC Irvine I held many positions over 25 years, including directing psychiatric consultations at the UCI Medical Center, organizing and directing the outpatient psychiatry department, organizing and supervising the inpatient service at Capistrano by the Sea Hospital. Since 1993 I have been Emeritus at UCI and maintain a half-time general practice of psychiatry in Newport Beach.
