Dr. Gordon Mark Magonet, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Magonet for many years, at least 16 I believe. I have trusted and felt so very comfortable under his care. Dr Magonet, is an exceptional and caring physician. He is very thorough in trying to find how he can treat you in the best possible way. My husband and I and several family members value him greatly. He is a very great asset to East Jefferson General Hospital and also to his patients and his practice. Our best wishes to Dr Magonet both in his practice and his private life. We wish him the best of everything that life has to offer him.

Dr. Magonet is a very caring and thorough doctor. He listens to all your problems and gets down to the bottom of your health problems. He make you feel very comfortable even discussing things that you would not normally be. I am very pleased with him as my primary care doctor.

Dr Magonet saw me at a last minute's notice, when no other PCP/Family Doctor would (all of the others in the area said there was a 2-3 month wait for "new patients). I hadn't seen Dr. Magonet for maybe 7-8 years. I wasn't even in the system anymore. Yet, based on my message that I left, he felt it was important to fit me into the schedule today. Now, he was teaching today, so he hand picked a resident to see me (Dr. Luster). I feel like Dr. Magonet picked Dr. Luster for a reason - very patient and good listening and communication skills. After a lengthy visit, Dr. Luster then consulted with Dr. Magonet, discussed the path of treatment, and then came back to finish up with me. The appointment was extremely helpful (and vital) for me, at a time I needed it the most. I offer huge praise to both doctors for being there for me, for hearing a patient and knowing when it was "just right" to see me sooner rather than waiting 2-3 months merely because I met "new patient" guidelines. That is… what medicine is about - helping the patient. Thank you Drs. Magonet and Luster.
