He performed the 1st operation, I suffered for 3 1/2 days in over 10 pain before he performed an emergency 2nd surgery. Did a month of in home rehab and a month of outpatient rehab then released me. I’m still dealing with A LOT of pain and am now seeing a pain mgmt dr and have undergone several pain mgmt attempts, no luck. Now my whole right leg is not functioning correctly and is hurting which is what caused dr Marshall to do the emergency 2nd surgery. After the 1st one I could not feel my right leg but it hurt so badly that I could not touch it, stand on it or even try to use it. He claimed he didn’t see anything wrong in the MRI i did while going through this pain but as a precaution was going to reopen me to look at it at did a lamenectomy ??????????

Worst customer service starting with the front desk clerks it was obvious none of them care about be needs of the patients. My husband and I tried 2 locations the one in James Casey and the one in Eiger Rd. I made an appt for my husband that was having lots of problem with his lower back. Knowing that Dr Marshall was in our insurance network. My husband needed surgery I was told my the Dr that I was to get a call from one of his office staff in 24 hrs to arrange everything for his surgery. I called so many times after 48 hrs since no one called after 24 hrs no one was picking up the phone then the answering machine was giving instruction with a selection of numbers with different departments..I called all the departments to see who will picked the phone and no one did after waiting for each prompt 25 to 30 mins I was getting disconnected. We decided to go in person I was told we needed to wait that some will call us. The days was passing and no one called so we decided to go… to the James Casey location (2x) same attitude with the clerks it’s been more than 3 weeks no one call. We decided to go to another Orthopedic, my husband already have his surgery with the greatest Dr with excellent and caring staff. Dr. Marshall or GAO (Greater Austin Orthopaedics) most definitely need to train those ladies in their attitude. I worked many years in a clinic and Hospitals the patients were our priority .

I've been dealing with Dr. Marshall, for quite some time and he is very professional and attentive. He's the only dr I let look at my knee

Has performed both a hip replacement and a shoulder rebuild. Excellent from start to finish, and now a few years later, both are like new.

This is a very very crooked Doctor who would rather provide you with a false diagnosis than admit he was incorrect from the start. He is very aggressive and abusive and should not be practicing.

Extremely knowledgable with all aspects of his profession. Ariticulate, responsible and courteous. Takes his time to be sure you have answers to all your concerns.

Dr. Marshall treated me for a back injury as a result if a MVA. He went above and beyond in caring for me. I had fusion surgery and his conservative approach helped me recover and heal at a fast rate. Dr. Marshall treated me with such amazing care he was always there to encourage me during the difficult initial recovery from fusion surgery. I would encourage anyone struggling with spine issues to see Dr. Marshall.
