Always able to get in

I came to Dr. Kennedy after a Google search that led me to his office. I was greeted with a prompt, "yes we can get you in, would you like to come in today?" I was surprised by the quicker than usual appointment time, and after working four 12's in a row in the ER I was ready to relax and catch up on some ZZZ...but after changes in providers due to insurance issues and needing an RX refill I did not argue. I did let the woman know that today was my day off, and I had both my children with me. She assured me that would not be a problem. As I arrived I was greeted by the woman at the counter who was cheerful and nice. I proceeded to wait in the waiting room for about an hour, which I was thinking to myself.... why did you say you could get me in early? This is not at all what made my experience bad, however. Being an Emergency Room RS, BSN, I do understand and expect emergencies/delays/ect. This is all but normal in a medical setting. My vitals were taken, and I was put in an exam… room where I proceeded to wait for some time. My daughter was quietly playing on her tablet and my son was eating a bottle when the doctor entered the exam room. He immediately started scowling and without greeting me, snarled, "you expect to have an appointment with me and you've brought your whole family along?!" I was in disbelief, I actually thought the man was kidding at first. I said, "Sir, if you are serious I did mention the fact that I had my children with me due to this being my day off.." He snarled, "Well no one asked me, did they?" He sat down, opened his laptop, (still huffing and puffing) then said, "I just cant do it, i'm not going to do it. Come back when you don't have 'them' with you.", as he pointed to my children. Dr. Kennedy walked away as I struggled with the door and getting the stroller out of the exam room. I Have been working as a medical professional for 5 years and never have experienced a physician with such terrible bedside manner (to put it in a very nice way). Needless to say, I will NOT be going back and I will relay my experience to anyone who wants an honest account of this physician.... I don't know what your personal experience with this man was, but I am here to tell you from an HONEST standpoint go somewhere else. Very appalling and disappointing.

Seldom does one come across, in today's climate, a polished professional of such knowledge, graciousness and professionalism. I have been a patient of Dr. Kennedy's for six years know and trust him and rely on him without a shred of hesitation or reluctance. I cannot endorse him, his practice or his staff enough.

I was a patient of Dr Kennedy since 2008. Thought he was awesome and had a great office staff. Sometime after the first of this year his entire office staff changed as did his policies. I could not get confirmation of my labs. I could not find out if I needed an appointment for my refills. I was told to call my pharmacy to see if I needed an appointment to get refils??? I did not get calls back. When I went in for my appointment Dr Kennedy was extremely rude and was very impatient with me during my appointment. When I asked about why I could not get a call back about my labs he told me "we are not going to babysit you people". Not sure what has happened to his practice but I will not be going back.

I got an appointment quickly and didn't have to wait too long. However, they made no effort to make me feel special. The office staff was very unfriendly and upon leaving didn't even turn around to aknowledge I was leaving. I didn't feel like they cared. More importantly, Dr. Kennedy is very knowledgable but was visably irritated when I questioned him. Later, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and returned (for a doctor visit) when I had the flu. I had the same experience, AGAIN! I was deeply dissappointed. I will not see this doctor nor recommend him to anyone.

This man is an excellent Doctor....In my opinion his communication skills are excellent..If you want a good doctor then he is the one..If you want to play doctor then fix yourself and leave him out of it...

I have been going to Dr. Kennedy's office for over 10 years and have never once had any complaints. He is kind, knowledgeable, and frankly, good looking! He is a wonderful doctor, always able to talk me through my concerns with my own health and my children's. I have recommended several friends to his office and couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

I have been a patient for over 10 years and have always received excellent medical care from Dr. Kennedy and his staff. I have some chronic medical problems and Dr. Kennedy always takes as much time as needed to answer all my questions. I never feel like I am just another patient. His nurse, Susan, is also excellent.

Dr. Kennedy is the most unprofessional, arrogant "doctor" I have ever seen. God help you if you question him, his diagnosis or procedures. He is the only "doctor" I have ever known to care so less about his patients that he is never on call, his office closes Friday and does not reopen until Monday, so if you have an emergency or you die on Saturday and Sunday well he won't find out until Monday and quite honestly he could care less. I went to see him on a Friday after being sick 3 days with a bad cough, he charged me 220.00 for a chest x-ray I didn't need and told me I had the flu, sent me home to fill a 100.00 prescription for an antibiotic I didn't need. By Tuesday I was worse, much sicker with 5 new symptoms. Over the weekend I had called the ER and told them what was going on, they asked if I had the flu why was I on antibiotics? they also questioned how I could have been diagnosed with flu with no screening. On Tuesday I returned to "dr." Kennedy and when I asked him these 2… questions, he blew up, told me that the moron nurse at the ER didn't know what she was talking about, he accused me of having an attitude with him, told me he would "spare" me his anger and examine me anyway, when he acted to unprofessionally I told my husband "we are wasting our time here" he looked at me and said fine get out!! then looked at my husband and told him he felt sorry for him, I guess because he was married to me. LOL This guy has a God complex like I have never seen, God help us as consumers if we can't question a doctor, when after 8 days we are still not better. He is unprofessional, turned my questions into an attack, and then attacked me personally because I had the nerve to question why I was still so sick with no improvement. Stay away from this person, he is dangerous. I have reported him to the GA medical board and the American Medical Association in addition to the Better Business Bureau.
