Great results and great care before during and after

I had a great experience with Dr.Baum. The office staff is very friendly on the phone and in person. He made me feel very comfortable talking about the procedure during the consult, and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure itself. Dr.Baum made sure I had all of the information/instructions before and after the procedure. He also made sure my follow up appointments were up to date. I would recommend and would go to him for other procedures.

Dr. Baum is a highly skilled, extremely qualified surgeon, who cares deeply about his patient. After researching online for cosmetics surgeons in the Central New York area, I came across Dr. Baum with high recommendations. From our first consultation to the post examine, I felt relaxed and comfortable as he takes time to listen and provides honest answers to your questions and concerns. My results look absolutely natural. Most people don’t even know that I had a procedure, but I’m able to see a significant improvement. I would highly recommend Dr. Baum to anybody who is thinking about cosmetic surgery.

I made a appointment to visit and have some fillers.Wasnt sure who to ask for, when i called, so i said whoevers available.Big Mistake. Its my first time there, and im already nervous. Dr Baum walked in, i said 'GOOD mORNING" AND HE SAID'You need to put your phone away.Very Rudely..THEN hE SAID"ARE YOU CHEWING GUM??? tERRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER AND ALL THESE OTHER REVIEWS ARE PHONY,, sEEING SOMEONE ELSE...IF I WANTED TO BE BERADED, I WOULD GET BACK WITH MY eX............

Since I was so pleased with the results of my breast reduction surgery with Dr. Baum 2 years ago, I scheduled my tummy tuck without hesitation. Again, Dr. Baum exceeded my expectations in every way. Dr. Baum came highly recommended to me by two friends - independent of each other... both with different circumstances. They both had positive experiences and results.. and so did I. The initial consultation was better than I had expected. He took a considerable amount of time with me... answering my zillion questions... and also level-setting my expectations. He was kind, caring, but also clear on what to expect. Dr. Baum has the perfect balance. He treats his patients with respect and doesn't try to oversell. Everything went well with the surgery and there were no surprises - the surgery itself and the results were exactly what he described they would be. I was also impressed that he called to follow-up that evening - not his service or a nurse... Dr. Baum. His staff was also outstanding as well and great about answering questions I had post-surgery. Dr. Gregory Baum was the perfect choice for me for my breast reduction surgery and tummy tuck. Being a physician myself, I was very particular about choosing the right surgeon. I have known Dr. Baum for 30+ years as a colleague and chose him to be my surgeon out of the many surgeons I've had the chance to work with in my long career as a primary care physician. Dr. Baum is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, has many years of experience, has high expectations of himself, pays close attention to detail, listens to all of your concerns, and surrounds himself with staff who have the same superior standard of excellence and customer service. Through every step of the way, Dr. Baum has been sensitive, compassionate, caring, and has demonstrated utmost professionalism. I couldn't be happier with my results or choice of physician.

It took me months to have the courage to make an appointment and I waited a few weeks to get it. I was thrilled to be doing something about my stomach as I am obese and really wanted to look pretty. When Dr. Baum walked in he had a clipboard in hand the first words out of his mouth were "You are 100 lbs overweight" and then giggled. I was devastated. Obese women can have tummy tucks. Just google tummy tucks for the obese. I guess he is used to dealing with beautiful model types all the time. I can't tell you how much his remark hurt and his "giggling" (laughing gently.) I absolutely never went back and wish I had just gotten up to leave. My low self esteem kept me there for the appointment and that shows you how low I was in my own view of myself. It was sad. I was so hopeful when I got there. Like a little girl.

So happy with the outcome! Dr Baum was great, as was his office staff. Would definitely return if I need another surgery.

A year ago, I had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Baum. He is a kind and considerate man, and having this surgery was one of the best things I ever did for myself.
