Exceptional caring Doctor. Good surgical resolution. Recommend highly!

Dr. Brabbee performed a major emergency GI surgery on me summer '15, and quite literally saved my life. During my post-op he would stop in, sit down to check on me and just talk, every day for a week. All of my follow up visits have been a true pleasure, Always thorough, attentive, and not once have I ever felt rushed, or anything 'brushed over'. Just being in his presence is a great comfort, especially when your concerned, if not outright afraid. Never before have I met a Dr. with such a great bedside manor, skill and attentiveness to both mine and my wife's concerns, but simply just a wonderful and caring human being! If all doctors treated patients with Dr.Brabbee's compassion and care, there would be less disease and death in the world. Every ego filled surgeon should be required to spend a week with Dr. Brabbee learn how to truly care for, and ABOUT their patients. I'm to have a second surgery, as equally complicated and difficult, in the upcoming months as part a… waiting/healing process from my first. Dr.Brabbee has been there for me every step of the way during this time and has always taken whatever time necessary personally address any of our concerns. There is positively no other surgeon I would want to perform my next procedure, or hands that I would place my life in. Thanks Dr.B!

This doctor is famous for having the worst bedside manner! He told my wife she had colon cancer while she was on the table for a banding procedure. Stay away from this quack! He is an arrogant piece of garbage.

My experience with Dr Brabbee was excellent. I only had one appointment with him but he took care of my problem professionally and efficiently. He has a gentle, compassionate bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone wihtout any hesitation.

I was origionally referred to a different dr. after being hospitalized for ongoing diverticulitis flare ups. I was not happy with the physician I had or what I read about the one I was to go to so I did my own research which lead me to Dr. Robbins and Dr. Brabbee.I am so glad I made that choice. My laparoscopic surgery was amazingly free of pain. I was home in 3 days. It has been a week since the surgery and I am doing great.I cannot say enough about how excellent, professional, passionate, and caring everyone at West County Surgical Specialist has been. The office staff was great, especially Linda who went above and beyond to help me when difficulties arose in pre-op tests.
