After two previous hernia repairs that did not last on the stomach area, I was recommended to talk with Dr. Dumanian. From the start I felt his experience and approach was different from previous surgeons and immediately trusted his plan. Having been told by other surgeons that I need a full abdominal wall reconstruction by other surgeons which would involve 180 degree mesh from side to side over my abdomen, I was relieved with Dr Dumanians procedure which would require only one incision and mesh only the size of a mans tie. I have been extremely pleased with the results and the scar is shockingly unnoticable only 3 months out from surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Dumanian for such hernia procedures.

Dr. Dumanian used a retrorectus mesh to repair a massive midline incisional hernia I suffered following a surgical procedure performed 10+ years ago by another surgeon. When the hernia presented in '20, my community hospital surgeon admitted they couldn’t fix it. Seeking care elsewhere, my research brought me to Dr. Dumanian’s website, where I was encouraged to find he specialized in “abdominal reconstruction." Calling his office for a consultation, “He’s your guy” was all I needed to hear from the staffer to calm my worry. After my first consult, I was confident Dr. Dumanian indeed WAS my guy, as he and his team explained his surgical technique and plan for my case. The prep went smoothly, and the surgery and recovery were flawless - a testament to Dr. Dumanian’s skill. And now, one year out from the procedure, I enjoy a fixed gut and a pain-free life. There is no higher recommendation I can give Dr. Dumanian. And with it, my thanks.

I came to Dr.Dumanian (who was highly recommended) with an Abdominal Hernia that was a result of a previous intestinal surgery. It affected my breathing and eating and was located from just under my breasts to just above the groin. His repair was a masterful job. I am very appreciative.

Dr dumanian repaired my carpal tunnel surgery on my right and left hands; he also did my abdominoplasty from a rectus abdominis from having children and umbilical hernia surgery repair. I can't even see my scars three years later and my last visit, I was estatic as to the results, he is a phenomenal surgeon! I had to have a small revision where my belly button was pulled down which look like I had two belly buttons but he revised it for free he is a very nice man with great bedside manner, he explains everything to you in terms you understand to give you the risks and benefits of your surgery. I would trust this man with anything that he had you fix on me he is absolutely the best surgeon I have ever met in my 55 years and I would say that if you need a hernia repair or mesh surgery Dr Dumanian is who you want to see and I give him and his office staff five stars! I would give them 10 Stars if they would let me

Dr, Dumanian and staff are amazing. I have been dealing with the same issue, a leaky ileostomy, for almost 20 years due to numerous previous surgeries for hernias, abscesses and other issues. I had a severe abdominal hernia that had recurred despite surgery by another doctor. Surgeons at the Cleveland Clinic and elsewhere said my case was too severe and complicated for surgery.
