Dr. Gregory William Masters, MD

Messaged him about the date to schedule a surgery. It took a complaint to the Kaiser member service for him to respond. As such wasn't interested in listening to my problem and after reviewing other comments wouldn't try to schedule a surgery with him

Overall outcome, my surgery went well (most important), however, the healing process has been worse than I expected. I want to let other patients know Dr. Masters does not respond to Kaiser system messages and did not recommend my Anesthesiologist give me a nerve block with my rotator cuff surgery, which was highly recommended by my nurse. Dr. Masters also did not read over my chart to familiarize himself prior to my follow-up appointment and gave me incorrect instructions until I questioned him and he looked at pictures of the surgery. I lost my confidence and trust, which we all should have with our doctors.

Terrible experience with a scheduled surgery weeks before at a specific time and date that never happened because the doctor has an unknown reasoning for his prioritizing of his patients. Actually blamed me and blamed a different department for not waiting around for his service when I didn’t have a ride home at a much later time. I am a one star rating treated like a one star patient. There are hundreds of doctors in the Bay Area, please choose wisely if you don’t fall within this doctors priority list. He may blame you or other departments if questioned for his unexplainable decision making. At the end of the day, you either reschedule with him or not. He didn't care as he has other patients to get to next. He doesn’t really care how his decisions effected my personal and professional life. He has his own priority list. I hope you make it. If not, I feel your pain. Literally!
