Dr. Gregory Scott Tennant, DO

it was Saturday afternoon Dec 11, 2022, I shattered the left side of my pelvis and was sent to Lancaster for surgery. when Dr. Tennant saw me for the first time he had me move my left foot up, down left, and right, which I did with ease, he then had me move it up and down while he hold resistance, which I did, and he stated "that's good, that's a good sign" I went in for surgery around noon Monday, I woke up that evening and noticed right away I couldn't move my left foot at all. I told every nurse who came into my room, and finally, when I mentioned it to Dr.Tennant he passed it off as temporary trauma to the hip area, after leaving the hospital I saw Dr. Tennant 2 times, first to remove the 87 staples and then at the 3-month mark where he told me I could start putting weight on that leg again, at both visits I told him when I first came in (3 months ago) I could move my foot just fine, now most of my left leg was numb and I couldn't move my foot AT ALL, he said"I don't remember that"… then went on to say it might get better over time. well, 14 months later little has changed, my local ortho Doc ( Christian Schwartz) sent me to Bakersfield neurology and the test results are, I have (Drop foot) due to severe nerve damage that happened during surgery, I will never regain complete use of my left foot, I'm currently shopping malpractice attorneys.

Dr. Tennant is a wonderful doctor. I had a terrible fall and crushed my femur. He fixed it! I will never be the same and have a long road ahead, but I’m grateful for him.

I had a car accident last year and shattered my pelvis. Dr. Tennant fixed me! I would never expect my mobility to be 100% perfect, but I’m getting there! The nurses told me he was one the best and I believe them.

You are in good hands with Dr. Tennant! I had a traumatic injury due to a fall off a ladder. Dr. Tennant knew exactly what to do. It was a long road to full recovery but after such a terrible fall, I expected this. Today I am almost fully functional and I have him to thank. He seems very respected at Kaiser and I feel lucky to be his patient.

Still a mess almost 5 years after having this so called specialist do surgery.

I took a fall crushing the femur at the hip joint and he did my emergency surgery. As it turns out he not only set the angle wrong but my leg healed 1.75 inches too short. Before realizing this I saw him several times with complaints of pain and limited range of motion. He never asked me to stand up, look at the wound, or even to take follow-up x-rays. When he finally realized that it was set wrong his response was "looks like we just need to do a little routine modification." He has a very cocky manner about him. Since then I have had one surgery to correct the angle of my leg and now facing another to correct the length. Only this time with an amazing surgeon at Cedars. It has been 2 1/2 years and still dealing with the mess that this guy made. Please do not let this man work on you!
