Dr. Yanish refused to consult a patient with a thumb injury (closed wound from kitchen accident) treated & splinted after hours, despite patient being currently on antibiotics. No valid reason other than “Dr has a VERY narrow area of specialty and already said NO” when patient has potential tendon/nerve DAMAGE and foreign body (surgical glue) causing inflammation. Very odd for a supposed hand specialist!

I was bit on my finger by a cat. The bite went through the tendon and became infected under the tendon sheath. My appointment was with Dr. Formanek who ordered immediate surgery, with Dr. Yanish was my surgeon. The care I received was over and above. The day after my surgery he went on vacation and called back to the office to see how my first post surgery appointment went. What doctor does that? He had also fixed my mom’s broken wrist. I would not trust anyone else to perform surgery on my hand. You don’t experience such care and consideration from a lot of doctors, but you will with Dr. Y.

Dr. Yanish makes the whole process easy to go through with having carpal tunnel and I recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Yanish is AMAZING! He is very knowledgeable and made sure I was well informed! He is very kind and personable. After a few bad experiences with other providers I went to Dr. Yanish and will never go anywhere else! He is extremely down to earth and truly cares about your well being. He is always staying up to date on the best and innovative diagnostic tests and surgery practices. 1000 times over I would recommend him for all your hand and wrist ailments!! In the past 2 months I have had 2 surgeries with him for 2 different issues and I could not be more thrilled with the outcomes! Dr. Yanish is the best of the best!

Greg Yanish did a Amazing surgery for me, both wrist at the same time for carpal tunnel, great bedside manner, very professional, and could tell instant relief ?? Still working on strength & grip, but coming along amazing. Would totally give him 5 ?????????? Traci Elwell

Dr Yanish was recommended to me by a co-worker and my experience with him and his staff was even better than my expectations! Everything went exactly as he described and I didn't even need to take the post-surgery pain medicine. I could not be happier with my choice!
