Dr. Gretta Fridman, MD

We have a very disappointing experience with Dr. Fridman. After my mom’s cataract surgery. Unfortunately, she has experienced significant vision loss, and the follow-up care was inadequate. After the surgery, my mom had complains but they were all ignored with saying it is normal to experience those,then when the things got serious, there was no follow-up at all. When we raised our concerns, we were not referred to the appropriate specialist in a timely manner, leaving us feeling abandoned during a difficult time. In the office she acted like she was setting an appointment with the neurooptimalogist but she actually did not. She did not have even bother to learn what’s going on with us. I had to go to office to get the appointment. We are still trying to get the right care. It felt like we are fighting just to get the care my mom needed. This experience has had a serious impact on my mom’s quality of life, and I am very upset about the lack of support and communication. I would not… recommend this ophthalmologist.

Lost vision.. Still trying a year later to save the eye.

Excellent physician. Longer wait times than before. There has been a turnover in staff lately. The new manager (I think he is the manager) scolds the girls about being slow in front of clients which makes them and us feel uncomfortable. I've even heard him be disrespectful to Dr. Fridman.

As a healthcare provider myself, and I didn't tell the staff that I am a Dr, I can honestly tell you that Dr. Fridman was extremely helpful and took excellent care of my acute eye problem. I was able to promptly get back to taking care of my own patients due to her care. Thank you Dr. G. Fridman & wonderful staff!
