Dr. Guillermo Rafael Sicard, MD

I have been going to Dr Sicard for many years. He has been nothing but great for me through manny, many surgeries.

I have been visiting Dr. Sicard for a number of years and see him, at least, annually. His consults/exams are thorough and he has been able to specifically identify and treat any skin-related issues, including pre-cancerous moles, sun-damage spots, etc. on me, and and he resolves these matters quickly, painlessly and effectively. Dr. G. Sicard has a wonderful bed-side manner and he provides all the information I need to feel comfortable under his care as I ask questions or when I have concerns. I highly recommend Dr. G. Sicard for your dermatology consults, exams, treatment(s), etc.

The first warning that he is bad is how fast you can get in to see him. I'm a woman in her early 20's who has a family history of melanoma. So I visit him and told the nurse that I only want my upper torso checked. The entire office is dirty (water issues and mold), with rude staff, and all the equipment is outdated. The old man came in, barely said a word, and at one point demanded me to take off my pants. He then moved me to another room to have the lesions removed. Sat in that room for over 20 minutes with no shirt on. During the entire procedure the nurse and old man never said a word to me explaining what was happening. He didn't use gloves and all the anesthetic was left out including the needles. Once the procedure was over the nurse didn't even help me with my shirt. Two weeks later I had the stitches removed. During that procedure I had a disgusting nurse with dirty fingernails come in. She said she's never taken out stitches before!! She then proceeded to say that the… old man put in the stitches too tight and that I could have an ugly scar (which I do now!). She removed my stitches with NO GLOVES, DIRTY FINGERS, and (EVEN WORSE!) DIRTY/RUSTY SCISSORS!! I recommend that nobody ever, EVER, goes to this office. It's a total health hazard.

Be warned ! In my opinion this Dr is a butcher. Another dr has been helping to correct the damage Dr G Sicard did . In my opinion he needs to retire before he hurts anymore people. Please look for another Dr.

I may notice things other don't seeing how I work in the medical field. for 1. he had no exam gloves in the room. 2. he had no towels or trashcan by the sink in the exam room so what does that tell you. 'YUCK" 3. when you ask your doctor a question he should look at you when he talks to you as if to see if you understand not look away and huff over the only question you had ask. 4. His office looks like it is straight out of 1960. If he doesn't care about his office then how much does he really care about? And it would have been nice if the nurse would have mentioned that I would have to take my entire shirt off for the area on my face I was seeing him for... communication is important!!
