Dr. Gulshan Sadrudin Harjee, MD

Laughed when the speculum hurt me during a pap smear and asked if I was so tight because I was a virgin. I felt humiliated.

I've been going to Dr. Harjee for over two years now and she is an amazing physician! She takes the time to patiently listen to concerns, and is very easy to understand with all the suggestions she offers. She is thorough, and cognizant of insurance benefits while making recommendations for treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Harjee.

Her office staff double charged my insurance company. I have high deductible insurance, which means I get a limited number of $40 office visits a year. However, my yearly physical and pap smear are not supposed to be an office visit as mandated by President Obama. Her office, however, charged my pap smear and physical as office visits, thus depleting my ration of yearly office visits. When I asked them to please refile this with my insurance company, they refused to do so because that would mean they'd have to reimburse the insurance company. This is not a good way to run a business. I will not be returning to Dr. Harjee.
