I went in for a colonoscopy screening, but because they found the hemorrhoids I have had since 1979 I was charged as it the test were diagnostic. I was told I would pay next to nothing for the test, but the bill was over $1100. I was not happy with anything that happened. The medicine I was given made me throw up for hours and hours. I wasn't warned about that either. Worst experience ever.

Dr Reddy treated me for about 8 months; I had abdominal pain, acid reflux and other symptoms. After an upper endoscopy and ultrasound he diagnosed me with gallbladder sludge. Two weeks later I had my gallbladder removed but my symptoms didnt go away. I went to his office over and over complaining of diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, cramps, back pain, etc. He told me that was because my body needed to adjust working without the gallbladder. Meanwhile he performed all kind of tests and all came back normal. Tired of the same answer I decided to go to another gastroenterologist, he right away told me that all my symptoms responded to what is called IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Im doing a different treatment right know and in one month Ive improved a lot. Im slowly going back to my normal life. But, the worst came when I requested my records, the staff was very unprofessional. I had to call so many times, send e-mails, leave messages that nobody responded so they can give me my… records and not only they charge me $25 dollars for them, I have to pick them up myself and they made me wait for two hours. On top of that the receptionist gave me a cd with pictures of my CAT scan and ultrasound, because they couldnt print them out. I havent been able to open the pictures files in any computer that I own. Not a good experience!

Doctor was good but I was overbilled by the staff and my HMO took care of that. One of his bedside techs scared me though as she did not seem to smile and if I had seen her before the test, I probably would have thought twice about it!

I have been going to Doctor Reddy for well over 10 years. He diagnosed me with six different problems with my stomach and colon. I had to have a colon resectioning among other things, and if it weren't for Dr. Reddy, I have no doubt I would not be here today. If there is a waiting problem to see him, there is a reason...he is that good. it's worth the wait
