Dr. Hai Hiep Hoang

Dr. was kind and thoughtful. He approached the situation carefully and creatively, thinking outside the box when needed. The visit was punctual and efficient, and we will gladly follow up again.

Dr. Hoang is my favorite Neurologist. I've been a patient of his for over the last 4 years. I stand firm to say that if it weren't for him and a few other physicians I may not be here today to write this rating. Dr. Hoang's bedside manner is amazing and now that I see him as an outpatient he is very professional, personable and ensures that I am on the right path in my continued recovery.

We saw Dr. Hoang for a second opinion. He was punctual and spent so much time going over my husband's medical history and course of treatment. He was patient, professional and compassionate. He explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. We were so fortunate to have an appointment with such a knowledgeable neurologist. We cannot recommend him more highly.

Dr. Hoang is a very kind neurologist. He was very patient with my complex and difficult history. I think he sincerely wants to help patients. He asked questions slowly, carefully. He was open to my checking back with him, to email or to make a follow up appointment.He honored his word. He wanted details and new history. He asked me to try some walking....He wrote a prescription for PT...which was such a wonderful and hopeful medical gesture. Most importantly, he is willing to follow me...to think...to try. He remained a true and thoughtful physician, every minute of the appointment. He strikes me as being extremely smart. I am so grateful for Dr. Hoang. He is giving me a chance to become better. He has been on my care team at Cornell as a resident before, this is the first as an attending. For three years I have battled IIH and had very little success, but he thought outside of the box and truly was anted to help, this is the first time I am now NINE days so far at a stable 4 for my head pain instead of a 10 because he thought outside of the box to try Ketamine drip on me… I left the hospital feeling human today and a Little sad my rotation with him was my over, because I could not say thank you! So I hope he sees this and knows how thankful that simple am that he thought outside of the box for me. Because of him, after a car crash, I was able to avoid a spinal tap and I am just ever so grateful to this man! So thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me avoid a painful procedure and for giving me my head back! It means the world to me! You will make an amazing neurologist and honestly if you start seeing patients outside the hospital, sign me up!!!!
