Dr. Harald James Henningsen, MD

Dr. H.J. Henningsen is truely one of the worst Orthopaedic doctor in flordia. Dr. Henningsen makes bad judgements to his patients injury and he only cares that his patients Ins. pays him. Especially wents its worker's comp. He just gives you a pain needle or a pill.

This is a review of my surgery one year later. Since this surgery (Tenotomy) I have had nothing but constant pain. I was very active in my retirement but now I live with a never ending ache and pain in my arm. I went to Sr, Henningsen for a back of the shoulder pain and I came away still having the same shoulder pain but now I have an arm pain that is even worst. Not a day goes by that I don't regret being talked into this surgery. It did not address my original shoulder problem which was later diagnosed as tendinitis. I have had many sleepless nights over this because of the stress it has put in my life. If you are faced with surgery get several options and take your time in your decision making. I wished I would have. On my first visit with Dr. Henningsen I was quickly setup for surgery without any suggestions for alternate treatment. I blame myself for making this decision and blindly trusting in a doctor

I went to Dr. Henningsen for a pain in the back of my shoulder. He suggested exploratory surgery to see if there was a problem because I had surgery on this shoulder 12 years before. My wife and I told him not to do anything that did not need to be done in surgery. In surgery he cut off my bi-cep tendon which has left me with a popeye muscle and cramping in my arm. I went to another orthopedic surgeon after this surgery and showed him my before and after medical records. It was his option that my bi-cep tendon was in prefect condition and that my problem is not related to the bi-cetp tendon. I now have more pain in my arm and shoulder than I did before the surgery. I now live with the regret that I ever had this surgery.

Dr Henningsen is by Far the Best Doctor I have ever seen. He came to the trauma center and treated me and continued to treat me at his office after that. I don't know what I would have done without his excellent care and knowledge as a Doctor!His staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Dr. H replaced my ACL. The pain was low, the recovery was fast, and the scarring is small. He is top notch technically but he also has a great bedside manner. I'm grateful to have the use of my leg back!

Fantastic doctor. I had been seeing another ortho doc who had me scheduled for surgery. I went to Dr. Henninsen for a second opinion and he took care of the problem very quickly and with NO SURGERY! Can't recommend him enough.

I would chose this doctor again for surgery. He made some very good decisions concerning my health resulting in my successful recovery.

Both knees were replaced about six years ago on the same day. CWent into the hospital on Friday and walked out of the hospital on the following Tuesday. Dr. Henningsen did a great job, great follow up and great referral to a therapy group. I now live in Tennessee, hike, walk, go to the gym five days a week, and play golf about three times a week. Pain free and loving the new knees.

Dr. Henningson's professional yet relaxed,friendly and warm demeanor makes one feel at ease at all times. My condition was explained to me in lay terms. The nurse was very cordial and friendly as well!

Dr Henningsen has handled my sports injuries for about 14 years now. He has treated at one point or another my severely broken leg, broken collar bone, and some pain in my shoulders. He is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him and the other doctors at his practice.
