Dr. Harlan Grogin, MD

I was to have surgery done by Dr. Grogin but due to a change of plan the procedure was performed by another doctor. The procedure was very successful and I am very grateful to Dr. Fowler who did the procedure. However, I will remember Dr. Grogin with gratitude also as he was so amazing and committed to helping me. I feel 5 stars are so well deserved and does not even do him full justice. He is top of his game and is committed to his patients. At 85 years old, I was so pleased at how well he treated me and I knew that he was listening to me and respected my feelings. One can be very sure of getting the best treatment and care from Dr. Grogin when and if they need it. I wish him all that is good in life and thank him for the care and advice he gave to me on my visit with him. I know without a doubt that if he had performed the surgery that I required, it would have been very successful. I would trust my family members and all my friends with him.

Dr. Grogan gave me an excellent overview about my A Flutter problem and how to correct it. He answered my questions patiently. I wish my cardilogist provided me these pearls of wisdom. I now have a clear path to my healing. I came to Monterrey's ER on a trip from out of town, and I was treated as one of the neighbors. Thank you.

Dr. Grogin took care of my husband before and after his triple bypass. The bypass took our entire family by surprise and I was extremely impressed by both his knowledge, as well as the way in which he cared for my husband and I before and after the surgery. It is great to meet a physician who has so clearly linked his mind and his heart and puts both to practice with each patient who is fortunate enough to receive his care. Thank you Dr. Grogin for always going the extra mile and providing high level care at all times!

This is one of the best doctors experiences I have ever had. It was a perfect balance between tops-in-the-field care and a friendly, caring attitude. Dr. Grogin, Dr. Gerber and the entire staff of the Ryan Ranch office of Central Coast Cardiology were perfect.

I found Dr. Grogan to be very knowledgeable and confident. He took the time to explain my situation and test results. He was prompt in seeing me. I saw Dr. Grogan on a recommendation for a cardiologist and will continue to use him, as he was very good medically and personally. I can recommend him without condition.

He's apparently really good at procedures, such as catheter ablation, but in my experience was quite lax about other things. If you go to him for a procedure, BE PROACTIVE and don't assume he's paid attention to anything you've told him, even if it was obviously important. Also, be prepared to remind his office staff over and over if you need your procedure done within a certain time frame, because they show no sense of urgency whatsoever about making that happen.

This doctor does not care about his patients, and his staff is rude and doesn't return calls. This was the worst experience with a "doctor" I have ever had. What a shame.
